Sled Hockey Smackdown

December 17, 2004 - Dover, NH: People say nothing exciting happens until they miss the event. Well those of you that missed practice last night missed two pee your pants events.

I will start with the least funny of the two, but still funny.

First, Coach “world’s longest honeymoon” Carr was setting up for the butterfly drill and seemed to momentarily forget how to skate. This lapsed caused him to loose footing and “gracefully” sprawl to the ice. (knee slapper? Yes, maybe not pee your pants funny)

Second, Taylor “I will hit anything that moves even if they are not in the game” Chace starting a nice shallow breakout during the scrimmage game, peered over his right shoulder expecting the return pass streaking down the left wing had is progress completely halted when he slammed into Coach Ed who was on the ice coaching in his wheelchair. The check knocked Ed out of his chair onto Chace and the ice. Once everyone realized Ed was fine the laughing began. The humor did not end there, oh no! Then we got one hell of a show watching Coach Moulton and Big Mike try to put Ed back into his chair....ON THE ICE!!!! I think Coach Carr got the most enjoyment out of the second half of that show.
